A different type of working vacation.
Farm to table is increasingly considered a luxury food experience. The purpose of this idea would be to reconnect people to their food source while supporting a local economy through a network of exclusive farm stays. A typical stay would include learning about sustainable and organic farming practices. It would also involve planting, harvesting, and preparing each meal to better understand and appreciate the process. These farms would be located in areas with dense produce all over the world for unique cultural dishes.
My inspiration here was drawing from my childhood growing up with cornfields, grapes, berries, squash, pumpkins, chickens, ducks… a place I like to call “the funny farm”. My appreciation for agriculture is based on this upbringing.
